I read a long time ago that it’s really important to do your moisturizing routine while your skin is still wet. It makes a lot of sense- the purpose of moisturizing is to lock in water, after all.
Especially with the weather turning cool again, I’ve switched up my shower routine to help avoid all the dry and scaly skin that comes along with it. After washing my hair and body and all the regular steps that come along with showering (singing, responding to text messages while trying not to get my phone wet, etc.), I will usually use a sugar scrub (which you can easily DIY for yourself) to help remove any dead skin and dry patches.
I’ll then apply Jergen’s Wet Skin Moisturizer (which is a new product that I recently purchased at Target)- because it’s designed to be used while skin is wet, it helps lock in hydration at the peak moisture moment for 24-hour soft skin. It absorbs instantly into wet skin and no need to rinse off after application- just pat dry as normal!
There’s also a Target cartwheel offer for this product- you can save 5% on Jergen’s Wet Skin Moisturizer! I found mine in the affordably gorgeous section.
How will Jergen’s Wet Skin Moisturizer change your shower routine?
