I always enjoy trying out new bath & body products from indies, so when Lolita Lacquer approached me recently about reviewing some of her mani bombs, I had to say yes!
The Lolita Lacquer Raspado Mani Bomb Trio consists of 3 mani bombs inspired by Raspado (shaved ice). I grew up in Cape May, NJ and there was always a little italian ice (that’s what we called it) cart by the Coast Guard beach that we went to all the time, I loved it! This is already available in her shop and retails for $3.25 for the trio.
The trio comes in three scents (Bubblegum, Tamarind & Vanilla) and each one smells amazing! To remove the mani bomb from the paper cup, you can either cut down the side of it slightly or pull out on the cup to expand it, it’ll pop right out.
If you’ve read any of my past mani bomb reviews, you’ll know that my personal preference is for a mani bomb that’s heavier on the oils- these definitely fit that bill nicely! It really felt moisturizing on my skin and cuticles while they were soaking and they looked great afterwards. You can check out a video of these fizzing here.
Overall, I think these are super adorable, the packaging and thought behind them is really unique and I’d definitely recommend them! Again, these are available now in her shop if you’d like to try them out for yourself!
What do you think of these mani bombs? Are you craving shaved ice as much as me right now? Let me know in the comments!
