You guys know I’m a big fan of Ellagee– in addition to the maker being an absolute sweetheart, she always puts out really unique creations with fun inspirations. When I heard she’d started watching Game Of Thrones, I secretly crossed my fingers hoping for a polish collection inspired by it- and today, my hope came true!
The Ellagee Fire Made Flesh Collection consists of 4 polishes total (one for each of the dragons and one for Daenerys) and will be released in her shop on August 15th. I used Out The Door top coat for the photos below. These AMAZING dragon claw rings will be on each polish while supplies last. Let’s take a look!
Ellagee Mhysa is described as a smokey blue with shimmering blue/gold microflakies. Two coats. The formula was a bit on the thick side but still easy to work with. This is even prettier in person, photos do this one no justice!
Ellagee Zaldrizes is described as a faintly gold to olive shifting cream color with shimmering gold microflakies. Three coats. The formula was great, not too thick or thin. Absolutely stunning color.
Ellagee Dracarys is described as a blackened crimson to plum shifting red with shimmering red microflakies. I used two coats but it could easily be a careful one coater. The formula was on the thicker side than I usually like but still easy to apply, just give it a little extra dry time between coats. I felt like I was painting on dragon blood as this went on- it’s SO vampy and beautiful!
Ellagee Valad is described as a smokey olive to emerald shifting green with shimmering bronze microflakies. Two coats. The formula was a little thick but manageable. Green + gold is always a winning combination in my book and this polish did not disappoint!
Overall, I’m in love with everything about this collection- from the inspiration, to the unique packaging touches down to the gorgeous polishes themselves. Again, this collection releases on August 15th in her shop if you want to pick any shades up for yourself. (Ha- ‘if’.)
