Fall and Winter are my favorite polish seasons, so when Barielle recently announced their HOT CHIC collection for Fall/Winter 2015 I was definitely intrigued to take a peek at what they’d come up with!
Barielle Sheer Nonsense is described as a creamy pale sand with pink tones. I used two coats here but it was easily a one coater- despite the name, not sheer at all! The formula was good, a little thick but manageable and SO opaque! Really nice color, I was kind of sad that this was the first one used in my swatch sessions and had to come off.
Barielle Orange You Jealous is described as a burnt orange with gold shimmer. Two coats but could be a careful one coater. The formula was great, not too thick or too thin. Great kinda muted orange for Halloween.
Barielle Born 2 B Naughty is described as a creamy winter green with a blue tint. Two coats but I could have stopped at one. The formula was great, very similar to Sheer Nonsense.
Barielle Harley D is described as an iridescent brown with shimmer. Two coats. The formula was good, a little on the thin side but easy enough to use as long as you don’t overload the brush.
Barielle Secret Desire is described as a bright, creamy and iridescent purple. Three thin coats but you could also two two thick ones. The formula was good, a little patchy on the first coat but it evened out quickly with additional coats.
Overall, I think this is a solid set of colors from a great brand. Again, this collection releases on their website on September 1st if you’d like to pick up any of these shades for yourself.
What do you think of this collection? Which shade is your favorite? Let me know in the comments!
