Sally Hansen often releases new colors in their popular Insta-dri line as limited edition shades and today I have three new limited edition shades to share with you!
Sally Hansen Tag, Ur It! is a white creme. Three coats with Out The Door top coat. The formula was pretty good for a white- streaky and uneven at first but it evened out with additional coats. Sally Hansen Insta-dri shades do have a wider brush than most polishes and it seems people either love or hate it. I have smaller nails so I struggled with it at first but the more I use the better I get at it and so for me now, it’s not a problem.
Sally Hansen Vandal Eyes is a sky blue creme. Three coats with Out The Door top coat. The formula was on the thin side and streaky at first but evened out with additional coats.
Sally Hansen Quick Brick is a cherry red creme. Two coats with Out The Door top coat but I really could have stopped at one. The formula was great, not too thick or thin. This is different from the older Quick Brick shade, I compared them here.
I usually use the Insta-dri line more for stamping colors than wearing normally so I wanted to also test each of these out over both white & black. So, do they? Well…kind of. Over light colors they stamp very cleanly and nicely but they aren’t opaque enough to go over black (Also, obviously I didn’t try the white out over white. Not sure why I put a third white base down, haha).
Overall, I think these are great and will make a wonderful edition to my collection. I really feel that the insta-dri line is one of the best drugstore brand lines out there. These should be available now in the drugstore but they are limited edition so make sure to grab them when you see them!
What do you think of these colors? Have you tried any polishes from the Sally Hansen Insta-dri line before? Let me know in the comments!
