You guys already know I’m a pretty big fan of Forever Polished– her mani bombs where the very first I ever tried and I’m a big fan both of the formula of them as well as the creativity she puts into making them. She’s constantly coming out with new shapes and scents and I’m always excited to check out what else she’s been up to when a big box of good-smelling stuff gets dropped in my mailbox!
Before we get started with the review, I want to let you guys know that the mermaid box will be back in stock during this restock! I know a lot of you have been dying to grab it so I’m glad she was able to make up some more. She actually asked if I wanted another one for this review but since they sold out in ~2 minutes before (I barely snagged one of my own for a local friend!!) I told her to hang onto it so one more person can have a chance to get their own.
Also, I take some of my photos on my front porch now (trying to be all fancy and pinterest or something, idk guys, I keep trying to be like the cool kids and it’s not working) and of course while I was taking these a work truck with a bunch of guys in it pulled up directly in front of my door and just sat there giving me weird looks. Whatever haters, you just mad you ain’t got no mani bombs!
Red Velvet Cupcake Mani Bomb
How adorable is this? You can check out a video of it fizzing here (unfortunately the top part broke off but it still works the same). It comes with a card that says to use a large bowl and she’s not kidding- I thought I could live dangerously with a little less water in my normal mani bomb bowl but I ended up having to run to the kitchen for a bigger one so that it wouldn’t overflow! This could easily be used as a bath bomb and smells super sweet and delicious. The middle is a foaming bath whip that can be used as a soap while soaking.
Note: There is a card with this that says if you experience any pink tint left behind due to the coloring that it can be washed off with soap or water. I didn’t personally experience any skin staining with this but I know I have with certain Lush bath bombs so it’s a possibility, always comes off easily though.
Creamy Peach Mani Bomb
The top on this one is so beautiful! She continues to push her creativity to the next level with stuff like this and I love it! It smells really delicious, just like fresh peaches.
Beekeeper Mani Bomb
This one smells super fresh and sweet although I’m not sure yet if I love these shapes or not- it feels like I’m throwing a person in to drown in the bowl like a mani bomb voodoo doll! It smells too great not to use, though- sorry, little guy.
Cotton Candy Foot Butter Balm
This I’m the most excited about using! I have dry skin overall and my feet especially are always looking a little rough. Some of that I can help (by using this product) and some I can’t (my mom once told me randomly during an unrelated conversation that she it was a good thing I never wanted to be a foot model because I got my dad’s feet. Rude!). I don’t always love really sweet scents so I wasn’t sure how I’d feel about the Cotton Candy one but I actually really like it! It’s not overpowering but definitely has that nice sweetness to it. The balm itself is has a really soft consistency that’s super easy to spread right on your skin.
Overall, these products are all great and as wonderful as her regular mani bombs are, it’s so much fun seeing her expand to stuff like the foot balm and the mani bomb cupcakes! I’m also super impressed with her new package inserts, the white card, business card and magnet look so fancy and cute!
Her next restock of her shop will be June 14th (this sunday) at 3 PM PST. Popular items usually go very quickly so this is a restock I’d recommend being at your computer or phone right away for if you are looking to snag anything in particular.
Have you tried Forever Polished’s mani bombs before? Let me know in the comments!
