Ever After Polish does a lot of media themed collections and their summer collection is based on a movie I’m sure a lot of women are dying to see- Magic Mike XXL! Myself- I’m not sure if I’ll watch it. Don’t get me wrong- although I much prefer dystopian movies, disaster/apocalyptic movies, fantasy movies or action movies, I don’t mind a little cheesy eye candy once in awhile.
I watched the first one pretty much entirely due to loving Joe Manganiello in True Blood and I just found it so…..plot-less! I wasn’t really expecting much and I’m truly not picky but it almost became the second movie in my entire life that I turned off before finishing (the first one was Shawn Of The Dead. Blasphemy, I know. I love British humor but I don’t know, man). The eye candy was pretty nice, though….so I may give part two a chance.
The Ever After Polish I’ve Got The Magic In Me collection releases on June 12th in their shop at 8 PM EST and consists of 7 total shades. I used Out The Door top coat for the photos below. Let’s take a look!
Ever After Polish Flesh Popsicle is described as a nude holo with copper flecks. Two coats. The formula was great, thick but in that way that makes it easy to apply and control. I fell in love with this one the second I put it on! So subtly gorgeous and the only time it’s appropriate to be nude at work.
Ever After Polish Policeman’s Helmet is described as a blue jelly with silver flakies and a blue diamond scatter holo shimmer. Two coats. The formula was good, a little thick but easy to apply as long as you don’t overload the brush. How amazing is this?!
Ever After Polish Tarzan’s Vine is described as a light aqua green holo with gold and green flecks. Two coats. The formula was great, not too thick or thin. The gold and green flecks make this one really unique, I love it!
Ever After Polish Banana Hammock is described as a gold holo glitter mix. Two coats. The formula was great, not too thick or thin. Sometimes polishes with this type of finish skirt the edge of looking a bit too frosty for my tastes but this one was perfect!
Ever After Polish Pole Dancing is described as a blue gray holo with a teal/blue shimmer. Two coats. The formula was good, thick in a way that makes it easy to control and a bit patchy on the first coat but a nice thick second coat evened everything out.
Ever After Polish Firefighter’s Hose is described as a red jelly with silver flakes, gold micro flake and shimmer. Two coats but I honestly could have stopped at one. The formula was great, not too thick or thin. I loved this one, it’s like painting fire onto your nail!
Ever After Polish Rhinestone Cowboy is described as a pink holo with blue shimmer. Two coats. The formula was good, a bit thicker than I prefer but still applied pretty easily. It’s described as pink but it’s more of a purpley-fuschia shade to me- very pretty!
Along with the new collection, I was also sent one of their new mani fizzies, scrubs and their new bubble bath. I’d previously reviewed a few additional ones from them here.
Striptease Mani Fizzies
Strawberry piña colada
As with their other mani fizzies, to use this you fill up a bowl with warm water, drop it in, let it fizz/froth and then soak your hands for 15 minutes or as long as you’d like. Pat dry with a towel afterwards. Ever After’s mani fizzies focus on oils that don’t feel oily so they don’t feel as moisturizing to me as other brands but they are very relaxing (almost like a bubble bath for your hands), the frothiness feels nice and make your hands smell amazing! I’m big on anything coconut and this smelled awesome!

Make It Rain Salt Scrub
Salt scrub scented with clean crisp floral rain including peonies tulip hydrangea and fresh spring rain
Salt scrubs are great for exfoliating your hands! I also like to use these in the middle of a swatch session with a nail brush to help get stubborn glitters or flakes out of my cuticles. Run some warm water, scoop out a bit of the scrub and rub it all over your hands, then rinse. My hands always feel super soft after using these! I reaaaaally like the scent on this one- if you’re into ‘clean’ scents you need to have it. There’s enough of a sweet floral hint to make it smell nice but it’s not overwhelming and you mostly get the rain/clean scent.

Lavender Honey Bubble Bath
Fresh cut lavender and sweet honey
I was most excited about this! You guys know I like nail polish and manicure items but my real passion is bath products! Sometimes I feel like a legit mermaid because of how often I take one during the week, haha. I just can’t help but find it such a nice way to relax for a bit at the end of the day! This created a lot of bubbles nice and easy and smelled really good, the lavender is the stronger of the two scents and perfect for a relaxing bath. Side note- super enjoyable to get to take a bubble bath and call it research for the blog, haha!
Ingredients: Lavender Honey Bubble Bath: Honey, Water, Sodium Laureth Sulfate, Sodium Lauryl Sulfate, Cocamide MEA, Cocamidopropyl Betaine, Methylparaben, Methylchoroisothiazolinone,
8 ounces | $6.50
Overall, I think this is a really fab collection and there wasn’t a single polish that I disliked, I was really impressed! I’m also in love with their new bath line and can’t wait to see more of that from them. Again, this collection releases at 8 PM EST on June 12th in their shop if you’d like to grab any of these for yourself. Heh, grab.
What do you think of this collection? Which one is your favorite? Are you planning to watch the movie? Let me know in the comments!
