I’ve been a big fan of Aliquid Lacquer polish since their first release, Alison’s polishes tend to be really unique so I’m always excited to see what she’s putting out next! Today I have her summer collection to share with you- the Aliquid Lacquer Summer Of George Collection!
The Aliquid Lacquer Summer Of George collection was released on June 1st in her shop and is inspired by Seinfeld! Can you believe I’ve never watched an episode? I watch pretty much everything but for some reason don’t usually get into sitcoms. Maybe one day! There are six shades altogether and I used Out The Door top coat for the photos below. Let’s take a look!
Aliquid Lacquer Close Talker is described as a clear base with a mix of hot pink and black holo and matte glitter [inspiration]. Three coats. The formula was good, a little thick but still super easy to work with and apply. This was definitely one of my favorites!
Aliquid Lacquer Hipster Doofus is described as a pastel green crelly with purple, magenta and silver glitter [inspiration]. Three coats. The formula was not too thick or thin and a bit streaky on the first coat but it evened out with additional coats.
Aliquid Lacquer Serenity Now, Insanity Later is described as a medium grey crelly with neon microglitter and holo sparkles [inspiration]. Three coats. The formula was great and applied easily. I really like the combination of grey and neon!
Aliquid Lacquer Urban Sombrero is described as a camel crelly with teal, aqua, copper, brown and iridescent glitter [inspiration]. Two coats. The formula was great, it wasn’t too thick or thin and had a great glitter density. This one was another one of my favorites!
Aliquid Lacquer Vandelay Industries is described as a royal purple jelly with red-gold shimmer, violet holo glitter and holo shimmer [inspiration]. Two coats. The formula was fantastic, smooth and easy to apply. This polish is amazingly gorgeous and a must-have!
Aliquid Lacquer Yada Yada Yada is described as a bleached neon tangerine crelly with neon pink glitter [inspiration]. Three coats. The formula was good, not too thick or thin but I didn’t get quite as much glitter as I would hope for. As with most neons, it was streaky on the first coat but evened out pretty quickly.
Overall, I think this is a really fun and unique collection! The standouts for me were Vandelay Industries, Urban Sombrero and Close Talker. Again, this collection is already available in her shop if you’d like to pick up any of these shades for yourself- today is actually the last day to get them for 15% off, too!
What do you think of this collection? Which shade is your favorite? Let me know in the comments!
