Today is the last day for many of the Memorial Day sales indie brands are having so be sure to check out my list of the sales! You may remember recently when I showed you the first part of Serum No. 5‘s Spring/Summer collection (the pale glow in the dark shimmers) and I’m back with the second half for you today!
The Serum No. 5 SS15 Part Two collection consists of 5 bright shimmer glow jellies and will be released June 1st for preorders in the Serum No. 5 shop and will then be available for general sale on July 1st. I used Out The Door top coat for the below photos. The formula was similar on all of these- not too thick or thin and easy to apply. Sheer at first but buildable. Let’s take a look!
Serum No. 5 Coral-ectric is described as a coral bright shimmer glow jelly. Three coats. I was most excited for this one because it has a similar base color to another favorite Serum I have- Jeweltide Greetings! The gold shimmer running throughout it is gorgeous.
Serum No. 5 Raspberry Delight is described as a red-pink bright shimmer glow jelly. Three coats.
Serum No. 5 Kiwi Glow Now? is described as a green bright shimmer glow jelly. Four coats on this one to cover up some minor streakiness.
Serum No. 5 Glo-balt Blue is described as a blue bright shimmer glow jelly. Three coats.
Serum No. 5 Wisteria-ously Bright is described as a purple bright shimmer glow jelly. Three coats. This one glowed purple in the dark (and not very brightly), not bright blue like the photos show. My camera wanted to capture this all wrong for the full hand swatch- I color corrected as close as I could but the other photos are much more color accurate.
Overall, although I also liked the soft shade jellies from Part One, I absolutely adore these! They all look so juicy on the nail and are so much more interesting than just a plain bright cream polish. Again, this collection releases June 1st for preorders in the Serum No. 5 shop and will be available for general sale on July 1st.
What do you think of this collection? Did you try any shades from the previous collection? Let me know in the comments!
