Welcome to another edition of my favorite polishes series! This week we’re looking at my favorite OPI nail polishes. When I first started getting into nail polish, I went through a phase where the majority of what I purchased was OPI.
Once I slowly started moving to other brands (and eventually, discovering indies), the OPI releases were less impressive to me so I haven’t purchased as much recently. But usually they have at least one or two shades per collection that really catch my eye, so let’s take a look at my favorites!
In no particular order-
OPI You’re Such A Budapest- This is such a perfect purple. There’s a slight shimmer to it that is not really visible on the nail but it’s just a really nice, lovely shade.
OPI Can’t Find My Czechbook- I love how bright yet muted this is at the same time…does that make sense at all? It’s the perfect base for so many toppers, too.
OPI Teenage Dream– One of two polishes I purchased for double the retail cost. When I first saw swatches I just *had* to have this and it did not disappoint at all. So sparkly and princess-y. I also clearly need to give this one a good shaking- look at that separation!
OPI Mermaid’s Tears- The other polish I bought for way above retail! Not only did I have to have it because of the mermaid name, it’s the most perfect shade of dusty seafoam green that I’ve never found a perfect dupe for.
OPI Goldeneye- This is a really unique and flattering shade of gold!
What are your favorite OPI nail polishes? Let me know in the comments!
