It’s the beginning of May, which means it’s time to take a look at the newest monthly addition to the When In Rome Series by Aliquid Lacquer – Lemuria!
Aliquid Lacquer Lemuria is described as a dark steely blue linear holo with blue holo microglitter and green glass flecks. Two coats along with Out The Door top coat. The formula was incredible, luscious and smooth. I love this shade- it’s so moody and sparkly at the same time.
Here’s some information from the maker about the inspiration for this month’s shade:
Because of Lemuria, the whole month of May was considered an unlucky time to get married. Lemuria may be the source of the feast of All Saints’ Day.
Overall, I am in love with this color and I highly recommend it. This polish is available now for purchase so head on over to her shop if you’d like to own it yourself!
Alison made fun of me when I told her I think this is my favorite polish she’s released yet- because I say that pretty much every time she releases something new lately. It’s true, though- and you guys know I’m not one to fangirl over stuff in general but she has been really knocking it out of the park lately with these monthly releases and her Gloss48 collection (which is now available in her shop as Gloss48 has closed down). If you like dark and moody colors you 100% need this ins your collection!
What do you think of this shade? Have you tried any of the other colors from the When In Rome collection yet? Let me know in the comments!
