The Sand & Surf duo releases in the Ellagee shop and the Blue-Eyed Lacquer Shop on April 26th and is limited to 25 sets per store. It is the first in a series of BEGL duos that are each based on a vacation photo. This particular duo is based on a photo taken by Ellagee on her vacation to Destin, Florida.
Ellagee Rhythm Of The Surf is a described as a turquoise/blue jelly with shades of white, blue, and iridescent glitters. Three coats, although you may need to go up to four if you have longer nails. The formula was great, not too thick or thin and went on easily. This is so delightfully squishy!
Blue-eyed Girl Lacquer Shimmering Sandcastles is described as an ivory/light nude creme with green microflakies and shimmers in aqua, silver, blue, and gold. Three coats. The formula was good, a touch on the thick side but still easy to apply. It was a bit streaky on the first coat but evened out with additional coats. I love how sandy this shade is!
The duo also comes with a set of beach-themed water slide decals that are super cute! I can’t wait to wear these to the beach this summer.
Overall, you guys know I’m a huge fan of anything ocean or sand related and this duo completely hit the mark for me. Again, if you’d like to pick up this duo for yourself, it retails for $20 and releases April 26th at 3 PM CST in both the Ellagee shop and the Blue-Eyed Girl Lacquer shop!
What do you think of this duo? Have you tried either of these two brands before? Let me know in the comments!
