Welcome to another edition of my favorite polishes series! This week we’re looking at the best nail polishes that fall under work appropriate. Now, every work place is different- some are on the extreme side where you can’t wear nail polish at all or it can only be cremes that match your skin. Some places you can wear the loudest and the brightest colors imaginable. For this list, we’re looking at the in between, muted colors that would be good for most workplaces or interviews.
In no particular order-
Reverie Nail Lacquer Starcrossed– This is one of those shades I can’t believe I waited so long to get. Neutral enough from a distance but so wonderfully complex and beautiful up close, like sand on a beach.
Sinful Colors Prosecco– This polish was super hyped in 2014 and for good reason!
Zoya Rue– This makes pretty much every favorite category I can squeeze it into. One of my favorite polishes in my entire collection!
KBShimmer In Bare Form– Same as Rue- one of my absolute top favorite polishes out of the 600+ I own.
ILNP Champagne Blush– Indoors, you mainly see a nice light golden-pink. Hit the sun and that intense holo comes out to play!
Literary Lacquers Octarine– Similar to Champagne Blush, this is a shade that looks unassuming but pretty indoors and then knocks you over with it’s holo beauty outside!
Fair Maiden Polish Once Upon A Dream– Dainty, feminine and flattering on any skin tone.
Serum No. 5 New You– This is another polish that looks unassuming and pretty from far away, but up close or in the sun you can see all the complex beauty of it!
Aliquid Lacquer Corpse De Ballet– From far away, all you (or your boss) sees is a lovely, traditional pink. But up close you get those awesome edgy details that make this pink anything but traditional!
The Polish Bar Sweet Pea– Another polish that looks fairly simple and muted from a distance but has such a delicate beauty up close.
