So, I thought everything was fixed from my move to wordpress but there is one thing that I have to advise you guys of- if you’re subscribed to my rss feed or by email, if my posts aren’t showing up in your feed you may have to delete your subscription & then re-add it. Thank you to the kind reader who alerted me about this! 😀
You guys already know that Reverie Nail Lacquer is one of my favorite brands. Well, she had a sale for Valentine’s Day and it coincided with me getting paid at work and well, to make a long story short I got sucked into it and picked up a few shades that she’d released before I started working with the brand.
All of these are from older collections and I believe they are all still available for purchase in her shop. To save some time, I had no formula issues with any of these shades and I used Out The Door top coat for the below photos. Let’s get started!
Reverie Nail Lacquer Starcrossed is described as a silvery light taupe polish with golden undertones and a subtle holographic shimmer. Two coats. When I did my top favorite neutrals, I had a reader state she was surprised Starcrossed wasn’t included- well, it was because I didn’t own it yet! But now that I have it….yeah, it definitely would have knocked one of the current ones out of there!
Reverie Nail Lacquer Sweet Talk is described as a baby pink creme polish with gorgeous blue and purple shimmer. Four coats, although it was opaque at three, just had some typical pastel streakiness. Very ballerina-like, soft and pretty.
Reverie Nail Lacquer Wild Wisteria is described as a pale purple creme featuring a gorgeous silver flecked shimmer. Three coats. Absolutely gorgeous, the base color is pretty enough on it’s own but the shimmer adds something special to it.
Reverie Nail Lacquer Cloud Burst is described as a pale grey creme with a subtle scattered holographic shimmer. Three coats. So subtly beautiful.
Overall, I’m really glad that I picked these shades up from her and I have no idea what took me so long. I think Starcrossed is my favorite of the bunch but I know I’ll get a lot of wear out of all of these. Again, most of these are still available for sale in her shop if you’d like to pick them up yourself.
What do you think of these shades? Which is your favorite? Have you tried out anything by this brand yet? Let me know in the comments!
