Barielle is releasing two glitter collection for Spring 2015, and I’m posting today to share swatches of the Glitter Mania collection with you!
The Barielle Glitter Mania collection consists of five glitter polishes that you can either wear as top coats or on their own. They will each retail for $5 at Barielle’s website. I used Out The Door top coat for the photos below. Let’s take a look!
Barielle Confetti is described as a multicolored sprinkled glitter. One coat over Barielle Heaven Sent. The formula was great, very glitter dense and not too thick or thin. I’m not usually drawn to these kind of glitter polishes but I thought this one was super cute!
Barielle Princess Pink is described as a sparkly pink glitter. One coat over Barielle Paradise In The Tropics. The formula was good, a bit thicker than the others were but still easy to work with and a great glitter density.
Barielle Gemstones is described as a multicolored glitter. One coat over Barielle Berry Posh. The formula was great, a nice density of glitter and a smooth application. This shade had the most variety of glitter colors, sizes and shapes and was definitely my second favorite of the collection!
Barielle Orange Flame is described as an orange glitter. One coat over Barielle Boho Chic. The formula was a good consistency and had a nice density of glitter. I’m not a huge orange fan but I can see using this one for Halloween! I would have personally liked to see some more variety in the sizes or colors of glitter in this but I know a lot of people like these kind of glitters.
Barielle Mermaid’s Fin is described as an aqua iridescent glitter. One coat over Barielle Moda Bleu. The formula was great, it wasn’t too thick or thin and had a good density of glitter. Unsurprisingly, this one was my favorite and I promise it isn’t just because of the mermaid name! I just love how sparkly it is and the pops of blue.
Overall, I’m really glad to see a collection of glitters from a mainstream brand! These are really fun for spring and summer and they all had a good formula. They say these can either be worn alone or as toppers but I can’t really see these building up to opacity on their own, so I would definitely recommend wearing them as toppers. Again, if you’d like to purchase any of these for yourself, they can be found on Barielle’s website starting April 1st!
What do you think of this collection? Which shade is your favorite? Let me know in the comments!
