I have a fun linkup party for you guys this morning! The members of the facebook group The Nail Polish Blogger Connection are all telling a little bit about their own blog & then linking up throughout the month to each other. I used to actually do a weekly segment where I interviewed bloggers and you guys really liked finding new ones to follow through that- it got to be too time consuming to keep up with but I thought this would be fun to participate in and share some new blogs with you guys. Each blog will be adding themselves to the linkup at the end so keep checking back if you’d like!
If you’re checking me out from the linkup- welcome! You can read a bit about me on this page, and I’ve also answered some general questions from the NPBC facebook group:

What is the focus of your blog? (Nail art, stamping, swatching, blended, etc.)
What made you start blogging?
Like a lot of people, I was sharing my photos on Facebook and kind of spamming my real life friends who weren’t so into polish. Also, my boyfriend kind of pushed me into it as he offered an Ulta shopping spree if I just bit the bullet and started it (since I’d been talking about it for awhile). That was expensive for him!

What keeps you blogging?
Wanting to share pretty polishes! Every time I think about quitting, the next time I paint my nails I feel like it’s a shame if it’s only me who appreciates it- normal people just don’t understand. I also really love interacting with my followers even about non-polish things.

What other blogs were/are inspirational to you?
The Crumpet was one of the big ones that I read a ton before I started blogging. I’ve always loved her honesty and how she isn’t afraid to have (and voice) an opinion that’s different from the crowd. That’s something that’s important for me to continue doing and I’m really grateful to have her as an inspiration.

What advice would you give to someone just starting a nail blog?
Take your time to do your research- there are a lot of great articles and blog posts out there with wonderful advice & I think it pays to really research and think about things before just throwing up a blog post and hoping for the best- you’ll spend less time re-doing things later on!
What is your polish Holy Grail? (deliberately left vague…)
Yellow Stopper, lol! Helps so much in swatchathons!

If you were stuck on a deserted island, what one item would you take with you?
Probably my phone with some kind of solar-powered battery! That way I could read blogs, waste time on instagram and call someone to come save me when I got bored, haha.
What else would you like to share about your blog?
In addition to polish you can find many photos of my large ball of fluff, Mugen. He’s a very fluffy chow chow and a pain in my ass sometimes but I love him.
