I have a new-to-me brand for you guys today! I’ve known of the brand Colores De Carol for awhile now and have always heard great things, so I was excited to get the chance to try out her polishes recently!
I’m not sure if these are all in one collection or not but at the time of posting, these are all currently available in her store. I have six shades to show you today, so let’s take a look!
Colores De Carol Green is described as a medium green holographic with blue/green iridescent micro hex glitter. I used three coats along with top coat. The formula was a perfect consistency and easy to control. This is so gorgeous and twinkling, perfect for spring!
Colores De Carol Pinwheel is described as a holographic multichrome shade that shifts from cyan to blue to purple to copper. I used three coats along with top coat. The formula was great, not too thick or thin and went on easily. I unfortunately had to swatch this one at night so I didn’t have any shade to really show off the shifts in photos but it’s super pretty in person!
Colores De Carol Amethyst is described as a linear holographic medium purple with blue shimmer to i. I used three coats along with top coat but probably could have stopped at two. The formula was again, flawless.
Colores De Carol 50k is described as a linear holographic medium royal blue with micro turquoise holographic hex glitter. I used two coats along with top coat although it was really a one-coater. The formula was great, thick enough to stay where you put it but not so much that it’s difficult to spread out. I’m in love with everything about this shade!
Colores De Carol Bling! is described as a clear base full of micro holographic silver glitter. I used Three coats along with top coat. The formula was good, pretty typical for a microglitter- on the thick side but easy to apply as long as you give enough dry time between coats.
Colores De Carol Cha Ching! is described as a clear base with holographic micro gold glitter. I used Three coats along with top coat. The formula was the same as Bling!.
Overall, I think this was a great first impression of the brand for me. The colors are simple at first glance yet each has a touch of something special and unique up close. Again, these polishes are currently available in her shop and you can follow her social media for restock updates.
What do you think of these polishes? Which shade is your favorite? Have you tried this brand out yet? Let me know in the comments!
