In the last post, I showed you guys a little nail art preview of the Cirque Colors March additions to the Metropolis Collection (a monthly release of cremes inspired by and highlighting the great city of New York)- Lady Liberty & Hudson! Today I have swatches for you, as promised.
Formula-wise, these were both the same- very smooth and easy to apply and control as long as you don’t overload your brush. They’re almost like jellies but a touch too opaque to really be called one, I’m a huge fan of the formula on all of the Cirque Colors cremes I’ve tried so far. I used Cirque Colors Liquid Laminate top coat for both polishes shown below. Let’s take a look!
Cirque Colors Lady Liberty is described as a spring turquoise creme. Two coats. Such an amazing color- I was falling in love by the first brushstroke. Definitely going to be a staple color in my collection. This is just a tiny touch more green in person than in my photos.
Cirque Colors Hudson is described as a periwinkle blue creme. Two coats. I think this would look so beautiful as a gradient with Lady Liberty. This is just a touch more purple in person than in my photo.
Overall, I am continuously impressed by what Cirque Colors puts out and these two shades are no exception to that. While I love both of the colors, Lady Liberty definitely stole the show for me and will definitely be making a reappearance on my nails all spring/summer. These will be available starting March 1st in the Cirque Colors shop.
What do you think of these colors? Have you picked up any of the Metropolis Collection releases yet? Let me know in the comments!
