I consider myself an experimental blogger. Sometimes I’m conducting carefully planned experiments. At other times I go rogue and just fairy dust the shit out of everything. At times I draw inspiration from stupid new slang terms/phrases- such as on fleek (look that up yourself, I’m not defining it for you, lazy. Alright, fine, HERE).
You know what’s been on fleek/on point/very good in the nail world lately? Flakies. Multichrome metallic ones, if we must be precise. Flakes are incredibly on fleek. On flake. Flakes on flakes. Flakes on flakes on flakes.
So I do what one does while procrastinating on getting required blog and housework done- experiment with flakies since they’ve taken over my mind. (Are the flakies maybe made from tinfoil hats? Suspicious…)
I started with one of my favorite types of flakies- flakies in a jelly base, such as Indigo Bananas Perfect Night (For Mystery & Horror). Mmm, squishy. Delectably so. Please don’t try to eat it.
So, those flakies are nice. Pretty. Wearable. But not quite On Flake yet. Let’s get a little crazy and add one of the new multichrome flakies on top, such as Serum No. 5 Power (which I’ll be showing you real swatches of later this week).
Starting to look a little On Flake now. But it still needs a little something…Hell, we’ve already gone this far, might as well add the fleekest of all the flakies- a gold flake topper such as Cirque Colors Au.
Now these nails are seriously on fleek. Flake. Whatever. THEY LOOK GOOD. They’re even on flake in the shade.

What do you think of this mani? Going to try layering your flakies to look as On Flake as this? Talk to me in the comments!
and thus concludes another blog post where I desperately hope that people think I’m funny and not just strange
