From time to time I get an opportunity to review something on the blog that’s not nail polish related- a lot of those offers I turn down, but I just couldn’t resist trying out a custom phone case from Casetify!
There were two reasons behind that- one, I wanted a phone case that would come off a little easier than my current one, because now that I use a macro lens for my phone I have to remove my case frequently and the current one is kind of a pain. And two, I love custom anything. I have a custom bathrobe, custom tshirts, custom license plate, etc. I think loving custom items is a side-effect of having a rare name that you can never find on keychains and mugs in stores (who else feels me on that? Comment below with your name so we can commiserate!).
Nice front page layout, easy to get started by clicking ‘make your case’!

You can upload your photos from instagram, facebook or just upload them directly!
However, there are SO. MANY. GREAT. OPTIONS! This is both good and bad, if you’re an incredibly indecisive person like myself! They have a lot of cute pre-made templates (where you just stick one or two photos in) or you can make your own full of just photos in a variety of empty frame layouts.
A few of the templates you can pick from. Yes, that one is the poop emoji. And also yes, I considered it.
I created quite a few before having to narrow it down from two- either a bunch of photos of Mugen together or a super cute chevron template with just one photo of him.
So. Much. Cuteness!!!
After much hemming and hawing, I decided to go with the chevron template and narrowed the photos down to one of my favorites of Mugen (I also have this one framed on my desk and yes, I’m a crazy dog mom).
Checkout was easy as pie and the ship time was neither fast nor slow but did fall within their estimated timeframe when ordering (my order confirmation said it’d come between 12/27 and 01/04 and it came 01/03). It is SO cute in person!
I also liked this little warning that popped up a couple of times since I was doing this right before Christmas.
Overall, this was a great experience for me! The website was easy to use and now I have something one-of-a-kind, which I love. I think these would make great gifts as well- I’m debating going back and buying one and using some of my nail art photos on it! They also have a lot of gorgeous premade cases- check out this beautiful aqua & gold case and this mermaid scale case!
What do you think about the custom case that I created? What photos would you use if you created your own custom case? Let me know in the comments!
