I absolutely love pretty much everything ILNP puts out, but I hadn’t been able to purchase anything new in awhile due to being, well….broke as a joke. Recently, she had to change her bottle style and logo and had a really nice sale, so I scrounged up some pennies from the couch cushions (okay, not really….well, maybe) and picked up three colors I’d been ‘lemming’ (ugh, am I the only one who hates that term?) for awhile.
The formula on all three of these was the same wonderful formula I’ve come to expect from this brand- not too thick or thin and easy to control. I used Out The Door top coat for the below photos. Let’s take a look!
ILNP Black Orchid is described as an absolutely gorgeous deep burgundy / purple holographic polish. Two coats. I wasn’t sure about getting this one but seeing it on Doctor Crafty’s blog convinced me. Such an enabler. The sun kept going in and out of the clouds when I was swatching these so I didn’t get the greatest direct sun shot, sorry! Rest assured that it is very holo!
ILNP Fall Semester is described as a wonderfully deep and sultry teal holographic nail polish. Two coats. This is slightly more green-toned in person than in my photos.
ILNP Champagne Blush is described as a sophisticated vintage pink holographic polish enveloped by a wonderfully crisp gold hue. Two coats. This was the one I was wanting the most and it did not disappoint!
Overall, I’m really impressed and happy with all three of these shades. What I really love about ILNP’s holos is that they are always very pretty even in shade when the holo isn’t showing.
What do you think of these shades? Which color is your favorite? Did you pick up any colors in the last sale? Talk to me in the comments!
