One of the cool things about indie brand fan facebook groups is group customs. In some of these fan groups, the maker will periodically create a custom shade available only for the group members. Today I have swatches of one I picked up recently- Ellagee Ell-sa (oooh, and I love a good punny name).
Ell-sa was created for the members of the Gee I Love Ellagee! group (if you haven’t joined already, what are you waiting for?!). Ell-sa is described as a pale blue holo with blue shimmer and silver holo micro-glitter.
I used two coats for the below photos along with Out The Door and had just the tiniest bit of VNL in person- you could go with three coats if that bothers you, but I wanted to keep how sparkly it looked at two coats. The formula was wonderful, perfectly thin to make it easy to apply but not so thin that you have issues with cuticle pooling. This is SO delicate, icy and sparkly, I love it!
As gorgeous as this polish is on it’s own, I knew right away I wanted to do some wintery stamping on top. So, I used Konad White and a design from the Moyou London Princess 07 plate to stamp on some cute snowflakes on everything but my accent nail. On that, I painted two coats of Ellagee BOOM!. I finished everything up with a coat of Out The Door.
What do you think of this polish & the look that I created with it? Do you own any group customs from fan groups that you’re in? Talk to me in the comments!
