It’s getting into that part of the year where the air gets colder and drier and my hands really start feeling the effects of that dryness. So, when Dollish Polish recently had a sale on their new cuticle balm scents, I decided to pick two up- Dead Men Tell No Tales and High Functioning Sociopath.
Quench your cuticles with this unique blend of organic oils and butters, targeted to moisturize and revitalize your skin, nails and cuticles. In a convenient travel size tin, this waxy balm is very emollient when applied. Gently rub tab of finger on top of the balm, your body temperature warming the rich oils from the balm. Rub tip of finger into skin & cuticles, leaving behind very happy fingers, and a delicious scent. Each acrylic jar contains 0.5 0z. (14 ml) of product.
100% ORGANIC Beeswax, 100% ORGANIC Shea Butter, 100% ORGANIC Cocoa Butter, Coconut oil, Apricot Kernel oil, Hemp Seed oil, Avocado Oil, & fragrance essential oils.
The balm itself is really nice! It’s entirely smooth, no grittiness and a little bit goes a LONG way! My cuticles looked really nicely oiled and felt very moisturized after applying this.
Dead Men Tell No Tales is inspired by Pirates Of The Caribbean and is a a tropical mix of sand, sea, coconut & cool vanilla. This smells INCREDIBLE! The coconut is very strong and the vanilla gives it just a touch of sweetness. Smelling this makes me want to be relaxing on a beach with a cocktail in my hand.
High Functioning Sociopath is inspired by Sherlock and is a blend of lemon zest intertwined with fresh tea leaves, sugar and a hint of ginger. When I read the scent description on the website, I wasn’t entirely sure if I was going to love this but since I recently got really into Sherlock (the theme *might* just be my ringtone…) I knew I had to succumb to the marketing and get it, LOL! Luckily, it smells awesome. The ginger is very faint (which I like because I’m not a huge ginger person) and the rest is very fresh and citrus-y.
Overall, I’m really happy with the balm itself and also with the scent choices I made! They both smell simply delicious and I know I’m going to go through them pretty quickly. I wish I’d seen the Hunger Games scent when I ordered, though, don’t know how I missed Peeta’s Bread!
