Okay, before we even get started today, any Mugen fans out there (or just anyone who loves jowly, fluffy dogs), you have got to watch this video of Mugen I took on my instagram. I love the slow-motion feature on the iphone so much!
Ahem. Okay, on to business! Cirque Colors is a brand that I’ve heard a lot of great things about and just haven’t gotten around to trying out before. So, I was really excited when they approached me about reviewing one of their holiday gift sets!
They have four different holiday gift sets (3 out of 4 are LE) perfect for the season, the one I’ll be showing you today is the Ultimate Glitter Gift Set. I’ll also be reviewing a couple of other sets, some new extras and doing some nail art with these polishes soon, so stay tuned!
The Ultimate Glitter Gift Set is an 8 piece glitter nail polish set that comes packaged in a nice black window box with a ribbon closure. I used Cirque Colors Liquid Laminate top coat for the below photos and had no formula issues to note, these were all wonderful. Let’s take a look!
Cirque Colors Stella is described as a romantic rose gold micro-glitter. Three coats. I really fell in love with this shade!
Cirque Colors Chainmail is described as a cool gunmetal micro-glitter with holographic sparks. Three coats.
Cirque Colors Ica Valley is described as a golden beige micro-glitter mimicking sand dunes, only sparklier. Two coats, although looking at these photos I probably could have used a third to cover VNL, it was fine at two coats in person, though.
Cirque Colors XX is described as a rainbow confetti made with over 20 different types of holographic glitter. One coat over Cirque Colors Memento Mori. This is so glitter dense and amazing- I can see why it’s such a popular shade!
Cirque Colors Kaleidoscope is described as a rainbow confetti made with over 30 different types of satin-finished glitter. One coat over Zoya Lael.
Cirque Colors Magic Hour is described as a rainbow confetti that consists of iridescent glitter in various shapes and sizes. One coat over Zoya Pinta.
Cirque Colors Vectors is described as a bold glitter topper made of black glitter in myriad of shapes and sizes. One coat over Zoya Wendy.
Cirque Colors Lullaby is described as a rainbow confetti made with satin-finished glitter in soft pastel colors. One coat over Cirque Colors Memento Mori. This glitter is SO right up my alley!
Overall, this was an incredible first impression of the brand for me and I can now see why this brand is so popular! In addition to the quality of the polish, I truly think that this polish set (+ the extras, which I’ll be showing you in another post) would really make great gifts to any polish lover in your life. I think the price is right for what you’re getting and the packaging is really cute for gifting. You can purchase this gift set along with other products by Cirque Colors at their shop or their stockists.
What do you think? Have you tried out this brand before? What’s your favorite color by them? Planning on picking up any of the gift sets? Talk to me in the comments!
