As you guys know, lately I’ve become a big fan of Barielle. I find their colors to typically be awesomely pigmented with wonderful formulas, and they always put out really cohesive collections that work really well together in nail art.
So, I was definitely excited to hear that they’d be putting out another collection for fall & winter- the Jetsetter Collection! The collection consists of 6 total shades- Kiss Me Kate, Autumn In Seoul, Irish Eyes, Rain In Spain, Midnight In Paris & Gondola Ride.
The formula on all of these was very similar- creamy, not too thick or thin and easy to apply. Any exceptions are noted. I used Out The Door top coat for the below photos. Let’s take a look!
Barielle Kiss Me Kate is described as a creamy beige/pink. Two coats, this had a little trouble self-leveling but it didn’t look too bad in person.
Barielle Autumn In Seoul is described as a deep, copper shimmer. Two coats. Perfect fall color.
Barielle Irish Eyes is described as a creamy moss green. Two coats. This is a little bit of a dustier green in person.
Barielle Rain In Spain is described as a creamy light periwinkle. Two coats, a little trouble self leveling like Kiss Me Kate but looked fine in person. This one wanted to photograph as more blue, in person it is more purple.
Barielle Midnight In Paris is described as a creamy midnight blue/purple. Two coats. This is one of those really tricky blurples to photograph! The shimmer is more purple in person and less blue. This one screamed winter to me, I love it!
Barielle Gondola Ride is described as a creamy sage green. Two coats.
Overall, I really like this collection! They aren’t all necessarily your typical fall/winter colors but I don’t think that’s a bad thing, really. Good to have some variety, and I can see some of these transitioning easily into spring.
What do you think? Planning to pick any of these up? What shade is your favorite? Let me know in the comments!
