Girly Bits is a brand I’ve been dying to try out for a very long time and lamenting my lack of funds to be able to do so. Those of you who follow me on facebook know that recently I won a bet with my boyfriend about what time his sister’s baby would be born- and the wager was polish! I decided to take that opportunity to try out a new brand and picked up three shades from her recent restock- What Happens In Vegas…Ends Up On Facebook, Get Weaponized & Man Size Love.
Around the same time, the lovely Cassandra of Sweet Heart Polish sent me a gift package that included another Girly Bits shade- Bird Is The Word! She really is such a sweetheart, isn’t she? The formula on all of these was wonderful- thick enough that they apply easily with no/minimal cleanup but not too thick. I used Out The Door top coat for all of the photos. Let’s take a look!
Girly Bits What Happens In Vegas…Ends Up On Facebook is described as a dusty eggplant shimmer with holo qualities and blue/purple colour shifting iridescent micro glitters, pink micro glitters and red micro shimmer. This was originally created for the bloggers who attended the 2013 Cosmoprof event. Two coats.
Girly Bits Get Weaponized is described as a teal linear holo with purple and magenta iridescent sparkles. This shade was originally created for Nail Polish War‘s two year blogversary. Two coats.
Girly Bits Man Size Love is described as a deep periwinkle blue shimmolo (blue shimmer, holo sparks accented with turquoise and aqua micro glitter). This shade was part of the 80’s girl band collection. Two coats. This is less blue and more purple in person!
Girly Bits Bird Is The Word is described as a magenta/purple holo shimmer. This shade was part of the 2013 Fall collection. Two coats.
Overall, I was quite pleased with the quality and uniqueness of these polishes and definitely recommend this brand. Have you tried her polish out before? Any must-haves that I should keep my eye on in the future? Let me know in the comments!
