So, lately I’ve been dipping my toe more into different kinds of nail art and when Rachelle from Cover Me! Nail Art asked if I’d be willing to try out some of her nail vinyl designs, I jumped at the chance! Vinyls have always been a little scary to me but I’m getting better at using them & it’s always fun to be pushed outside of my box a little bit.
I was sent two different designs- the chevrons and the french tips. These each come in a large sheet on white vinyl (the number of designs per sheet varies based on the design) with instructions and retail for $5. In addition to nail vinyls, she also sells a variety of water decals. Let’s take a look at the designs I created using these!
I first wanted to try out the french tip guides with a glittery funky french manicure. I began with a base of Zoya Margo, waited for it to fully dry, applied the french tip vinyls and then painted on a coat of Zoya Arlo. I finished everything up with a coat of Gelous (to smooth out the glitter) & Out The Door

Next, I tried out the chevrons! I began with a base of Zoya Ryan and waited for it to dry. I applied the chevron vinyls and on top painted a coat of either Zoya Remy or Zoya Muse. I then removed the vinyls with tweezers and finished everything up with a coat of Out The Door. This turned out a bit more subtle than I wanted to but I really liked how it looked matte!

Overall, these were quite easy to use and are affordable, so I do recommend this brand. I plan to create more designs in the future, too! What do you think of these designs? Let me know in the comments!
