Today’s post is ‘from the vault’, I wrote this about two months ago but haven’t had the chance to post it until today!
I try not to show you polishes often that you can’t get anymore, but I recently picked up a limited edition shade from Reverie Nail Lacquer that I just had to swatch & share. You understand, don’t you? Don’t be mad. You’re mad, aren’t you? I hope you can forgive me! I just had to share this with people who understood!
Reverie Nail Lacquer Daydream was offered both for sale in the launch of her summer collection as well as free with orders above a certain amount. It’s described as a squishy cerulean blue jelly polish packed with pastel glitters and tons of pink and red flecks. I used three coats here with Gelous + Out The Door top coats. The formula was good, a little thick as most glitter bombs are so I would just recommend using as thin coats as possible and the glitter density/payoff is amazing!
I also purchased two of the cuticle balms- I’d previously reviewed them here prior to them being reformulated. I got two of the scents (Sea Breeze & Grapefruit), and I found the new balm formula to be great, it’s much less soft in consistency which makes it apply much easier. Sea Breeze was wonderful, clean and fresh and Grapefruit was amazing, a strong true grapefruit/citrus-y scent. The ingredients are listed as:
Candelilla wax, shea butter, maracuja oil, carrot seed oil, grapeseed oil, fractionated coconut oil, apricot kernel oil, jojoba oil, vitamin E, fragrance oils
What do you think of Daydream? Have you picked any up from this brand yet? Planning to try out their cuticle balm (I think these ones might be on sale now to make room for fall scents coming out soon)? Let me know in the comments!
