Hey, everyone! I don’t often get the chance to wear polish that I’m not swatching, but when I do, I find that I often go back to the same polishes over and over. One of those polishes is Literary Lacquers Pan Galactic Gargle Blaster!
I had swatched it previously, but I didn’t feel like my old photos really showed this beauty properly, so I decided to give it another go when I wore it recently! I think it says a lot about this polish that I didn’t buy it, I received it for review but I have used it so often because it’s pretty much amazing.
My photos below show three coats with Out The Door top coat. Let’s take a look!
As I was in the shower deciding on what my next manicure would be (after all, all important decisions are made there), I decided on using this as a base. But, what would I do to jazz things up? Accent nail? No, too plain. Oh, I know! Going by the Hitchhiker’s Guide To The Galaxy inspiration, I could stamp some spaceships or space-y type stuff on top! Perfect!
It wasn’t until I sat down to get started that I realized I hadn’t bought the Messy Mansion MM33/space plate. D’oh! I have convinced myself more than once that I have this plate, I think that’s a sign that I need to just go ahead and get it. Anyways, I decided the next best thing would be to use Messy Mansion MM43, the steampunk plate! I used Maybelline Bold Gold to stamp the images, including the steampunk octopus on my thumb (not shown). I finished everything up with a coat of Out The Door.
Overall, I really like how this turned out! It looked especially nice in low lighting, and then BAM, sparkles in the sun! What do you think? Do you have that one polish that always makes you super happy to put it on? Let me know in the comments!
