Hey, everyone! A little while back I showed you a new-to-me indie brand, Ice Polish! I’m back again to show you some brand-new Ice Polish disney-themed colors for summer- the Dreams Come True…Not If I Can Help It collection! Erin was kind enough to send me Jafar, Jasmine, Mulan and Shanyu to review. Yeaaah, I may have fangirled a little bit when I saw the names. Don’t judge me. These are available in her shop now.
The formula on all of these was the same- not too thick or thin and applied easily. Pictures show polish with Out The Door top coat. Let’s take a look!
Ice Polish Mulan is a beautiful blue (nearly periwinkle) holo with tiny flakes. Three coats.
Ice Polish Shanyu is a luscious chocolate brown holo with possibly some small gold flakes or possibly shimmer? Hard to tell, but it’s pretty. This is two coats, but this could easily be a one-coater if you’re careful. The formula on this one was a bit thicker than the others, but not in a bad way, it was still quite easy to work with.
Ice Polish Jasmine is a beautiful light blue-green holo. Three coats. This one was a bit brushstroke-y, but so beautiful! Because the base is so light, the holo doesn’t always pop out but when it does, it really adds something to it!
Ice Polish Jafar is a gorgeous burgandy/purpleish (this is the technical term) holo with small flakes. Two coats. This one was my favorite of the bunch, and now just because I think Jafar is sexy. Is that weird?? Jed thinks it’s weird. Tell me I’m not alone! I think Gaston is, too… Although, my siblings and I did use to call him Jafart. We thought we were so witty!
Overall, a really gorgeous set of holos with great quality formula and of course, awesome inspirations! Between this and the last set of polishes I reviewed by Ice Polish, I’m really impressed by such a new brand, this is definitely one to keep an eye on! Again, these should be available in her shop now, so go take a look!
|Puppy Mugen is…seeing ice for the first time! Not the polish version, though.|
