I had never tried Barielle before but have definitely seen them around the blogosphere so I was excited when they asked to send me their most recent collection to review and share with you guys. The Keys Collection is a set of 6 fun summery shades! They also sent me a second set to give away, so stick around to the end of the entry for that!
To avoid sounding like a broken record on these, the formula was very similar on all but the yellow & light pink: amazing consistency, thick enough to apply easily with minimal cleanup but still thin enough to apply easily & smoothly. Panama Pina Colada & Topless In St Tropez were a little on the streaky side (ALL yellows are usually a pain) but evened out with additional coats. I used Out The Door top coat for each of the below photos. Let’s take a look!
Barielle Paradise In The Tropics is a creamy fuschia. Two coats but you could get away with one careful coat.
Barielle Panama Pina Colada is a creamy yellow. Three coats. This isn’t the most flattering color ever on me but I think it’d look fantastic on someone with a darker skin tone!
Barielle Topless In St Tropez is a creamy pink with coral and a very subtle silver shimmer. Three coats.
Barielle Barefoot In Bermuda is a creamy hot pink. Two coats, but you could get away with one. I’m in love with this color!! This & Paradise In The Tropics are very similar but not quite dupes, Bermuda is a little more of a bright pink.
Barielle Hawaiian Sunset is a shimmery orange. I did two coats out of habit, but you could get away with one. Again, this one isn’t super flattering on me but the formula was incredible and I think it’d look great on others!
Barielle Miami Heat is a sheer jelly red. Two coats. This is sooo juicy but reaches opacity nice and quickly. Definitely see myself using this one in the future!
Overall, a really nice collection for summer with shades that can also be worn year-round or are versatile enough to use in nail art. I am not often blown away by a brand but these had seriously the best cream formula I’ve used in a long time!! I can’t believe I’d never tried them out before and I can’t wait to see what they’ve got up their sleeve for future collections! This collection is available now and can be purchased on their website for 8$ a bottle.
What do you think? Have you tried Barielle before? Which of these colors is your favorite? Let me know in the comments!
