I know, I know, I already posted today but I am just so excited to show you guys this collection! You may remember awhile ago when I fell desperately in love with two jellies from Two Gypsies Lacquers. Well, they’re set to release an amazing summer collection, and along with that new collection comes a new name for this promising brand- Reverie Nail Lacquer!
I don’t usually gush over brands too often here, but I have been just dying waiting for this collection to come out ever since they started posting the teaser photos of it.
The summer collection consists of 6 great and varied shades- two jellies (Summer Wine and Andromeda), two crellies (Seascape & Agave), a holo (Orchid) and a super sparkly glitterbomb (Mermaid Scales). It releases June 25th at 10:00 AM EST! Let’s take a look!
Reverie Nail Lacquer Orchid is a light orchid purple polish with a tiny hint of gold shimmer on the nail and a subtle holographic sheen in the sunlight. I used three coats for the below photos, along with Out The Door top coat.
The formula was great, not too thick or thin and applied easily. This one is so incredibly beautiful and delicate in person. I took a video on instagram to hopefully give you a better idea of just how pretty it is!
Reverie Nail Lacquer Mermaid Scales is a blue holographic micro-glitter bomb! This can either be a super sparkly glitter topper or you can build it up to opacity. I used three coats for the below photos & one coat over black, along with Out The Door top coat.
The formula was good, definitely on the thick side but easy enough to apply with thin coats. And just like Orchid, I also took a video on instagram of this one as well!

Reverie Nail Lacquer Seascape is an off-white sandy crelly with shades of blue, orange, and yellow matte glitters and gold flecks. I used two coats for the below photos, along with Gelous + Out The Door
top coats.
The formula was okay, probably the most challenging of the bunch for me. It’s definitely on the thick side so you want to use as thin as possible coats. On the bright side, absolutely no glitter fishing was needed! Note: In the macro photo, it looks like one of the glitters is curled but that is only reflective curling, they were all totally flat in person.
Reverie Nail Lacquer Agave is a pale blue-grey crelly polish loaded with copper and golden flecks. I used two coats for the below photos, along with Out The Door top coat.
The formula was good, a little on the thick side but not unworkably so, just use thin coats. This didn’t look like a ‘me’ color in the bottle but once I got it on I really loved it!
Reverie Nail Lacquer Summer Wine is a squishy bright red jelly polish packed to the brim with red, yellow, pink, orange, and iridescent glitters in hex and dot shapes. I used two coats for the below photos, along with Gelous + Out The Door
top coats.
You could do three (or one over undies) if you wanted it to be slightly more opaque, but I loved how squishy it looked at two! The formula was good, not overly thick although it is packed with glitter so you want to use as thin coats as possible and make sure not to get too much glitter on your brush.
Reverie Nail Lacquer Andromeda is a squishy blue-purple jelly polish packed with dots, hexes, two different size stars, and teensy tiny iridescent bar glitters. I used three coats for the below photos, along with Gelous + Out The Door
top coats.
You could also do one coat of this over undies if you didn’t want so much glitter or wanted a more opaque look. The formula was good, very similar to Summer Wine. If you know me well, you know this one was easily my favorite!!
Overall, another fantastic collection from a brand who I really think is going places. In an over-saturated indie brand market, they come up with really unique and gorgeous polish. This collection launches June 25th at 10:00 AM EST! Tell me which ones are going on your wishlist or in your cart in the comments!!
