Hey, everyone! I’m really excited to share swatches of Zoya’s new Bubbly collection with you today! When the press release for these came out, I was quite excited to see these shades (Muse, Stassi, Harper, Binx, Jesy & Alma) in person!
Tomorrow I’ll be showing you the second half of Zoya’s Summer 2014 set- Tickled, the creams (Ling, Tilda, Rooney, Kitridge, Wendy & Rocha), so be sure to check back!
To not sound like a broken record on these since the formulas were so similar, they were all fantastic, that perfect amount of thickness that makes them easy to apply but not actually thick once it’s on your nail. Not like Monet, which many weren’t a fan of due to the thickness, more like a regular jelly polish thickness. They start off a little sheer and build easily- you could probably get away with one less coat than I used here under the bright lights. (And as a note- the full swatch photos are most color-accurate to what you’re going to see in the majority of lighting. The macro photos are usually a little darker but show the individual elements of the polish better while being less color accurate.)
Despite being packed with glitter, the finish is not bumpy at all, only regular top coat is needed, nothing fancy like gelous or multiple coats.
Zoya Muse is a Mermaid Blue Metallic with Holographic Glitter. Photo shows three coats with Out The Door. This one totally reminds me of one of my all-time favorites, Zoya Charla but with iridescent glitter!

Zoya Stassi is a Jade Green Metallic with Holographic Glitter. Photo shows three coats with Out The Door.
Zoya Harper is a Mexican Pink Metallic with Holographic Glitter. Photo shows two coats with Out The Door, although I probably could have gone for one more to make sure there was no VNL under the lights. This is like, the perfect barbie pink. I was so enamored by this one that I had to take a quick video of it in action on instagram!
Zoya Binx is a Purple Orchid Metallic with Holographic Glitter. Photo shows three coats with Out The Door.
Zoya Jesy is a Coral Orange Metallic with Holographic Glitter. Photo shows three coats with Out The Door. Of the two oranges, I think this one is more flattering against my basement-dweller-pallor (my pale skintone).
Zoya Alma is a Golden Peach Metallic with Holographic Glitter. Photo shows three coats with Out The Door. This one maybe doesn’t look the greatest with my skin tone but it’s still absolutely gorgeous!
Overall, Zoya has once again knocked it out of the park with this release. I’ve said it again and again, but they’re my favorite commercial brand for a reason- they are innovative without crossing over into the line of ugly as a lot of other brands end up doing when they try something new. As is the be expected, Muse is definitely my favorite (what? I love mermaids, you know that! Don’t give me that look…) followed closely by Harper.
What do you think of these shades? Anything you’re going to pick up? Let me know in the comments!
