Hey, everyone! Before we get started, today is the LAST day to enter my ongoing KBShimmer giveaway, check it out here! I’m quite excited to share a new-to-me brand with you today, Octopus Party Nail Lacquer! Dave was kind enough to send me one of the new summer shades, Spume-Fed to review for you all today!
I’m absolutely in love with his logo, as you know I love pretty much anything aquatic-themed, and octopus stuff is just super cute to me! (Speaking of octopus-stuff, if you haven’t seen this video yet, watch it. Hilarious!) Let’s get started!
Octopus Party Nail Lacquer Spume-Fed is described as a pale mint/seafoam cream. I used three coats for the below photos along with Out The Door to seal everything in. The formula was great, not too thick or thin and applied easily. It was a bit streaky on the first two coats (as most pastel creams tend to be) but evened up nicely by the third.
As soon as Dave asked if I’d review his brand, I just knew I had to pair it with a little bit of stamping from one of the new Messy Mansion plates, MM43!
This is a great plate with steampunk-themed designs including a small octopus with a top hat and monocle. How perfect, right? I stamped the design on top of Spume-Fed using A England St. George.
