Hi, everyone! So, A England has become a a big favorite of mine recently and I finally had the funds to pick up a few more shades. This is just one coat of A England Sleeping Palace + top coat. As with every other A England I’ve tried, the formula was fabulous and glided on easily. It was a bit more holo in person- my camera isn’t the best at picking up holos unfortunately.
I then decided to finally bite the bullet and try out striping tape after being inspired by In Jeeb We Trust’s gorgeous manicure she did with Indigo Bananas 2% Butterscotch Ripple. I’ve tried scotch tape for tape manicures before and had a really hard time with it, but striping tape was surprisingly easy! Sure, it was a pain to cut the pieces and line it up, but it came off easily and made really clean lines!
On top of the tape I painted one coat of Zoya Normani, which I wasn’t overly enthused by when I posted my swatches of Zoya’s Naturel Collection, but it has seriously grown on me and I want to wear it every day now. Funny how those things happen!
What do you think of my design? Have you conquered any nail art fears recently? Any shades that have grown on you? Let me know in the comments!
