Hi, everyone! I’m back today with the second part of my L.A. Girl Cosmetics review! To rehash the basics, L.A Girl is an affordable brand that can be found their website or locally at Rite Aid.
In my first post, I reviewed Birthday Cake, Burst, Tantrum and Minty. In today’s post I’ll be showing you Delight, Intense, Wild Child (all from the ColorPop Icon collection) and Peacock (from the ColorPop Urban Glam collection).
L.A. Girl Cosmetics Delight is a lavender purple shimmer. The shimmer is super subtle in person and I could not really capture it in photos very well! Shown here is three coats with topcoat. The formula was good, a little thin on the first coat but built up easily.
L.A. Girl Cosmetics Intense is a cool toned hot pink neon. Shown here is three coats with topcoat. The formula was good, a little thin on the first coat but it built up nicely. This is even brighter in person, my pictures don’t do it justice!
L.A. Girl Cosmetics Wild Child is a warm purple neon. Shown here is four coats with topcoat. The formula was the only one I had major trouble with- thin and streaky until the fourth coat, and even then not totally evened out. It’s really a bummer, it’s such a nice shade of purple!
L.A. Girl Cosmetics Peacock is a nice, bright turquoise neon with a very subtle shimmer. Shown here is three coats with topcoat. The formula was good, the first coat goes on a little sheer/streaky but it evens out nicely with additional coats.
That’s it for today, folks! Want some L.A. Girl Cosmetic shades of your own? They can be purchased online at their website ($5 retail) or locally at Rite Aid. Be sure to also like them on facebook and follow them on instagram to stay up-to-date with news and new releases!
What’s your favorite shade from this set? Let me know in the comments!
