Hey, everyone! Today I have some swatches to share with you that I’m really excited about! After I got my first two polishes from ILNP (I Love Nail Polish) I knew I needed more! So recently when the pre-order began, I jumped right on it! The polishes I’ll be showing you today are Washing Ashore, Purgatory, Admire Me & Absolute Zero. The formula was similar on all of these, no issues and easy to apply. I used two coats of each polish with a coat of Seche Vite on top.
I want to apologize in advance these pictures are all kind of crappy, I was having issues with my camera and I think it got smudged at some point and I’ve been feeling a bit of burn out and just didn’t give a crap about re-doing them. 🙁 /honesty
Let’s get started with Purgatory.
Purgatory is an eerily deep and dark teal polish loaded with the perfect combination of sparkle and multichrome effect pigments.
In direct light you’ll easily catch beautiful hints of the gold and blue twinkle packed inside. In low-light and around the curves of your nail you’ll enjoy the subdued and beautiful primary color of the polish.
Purgatory is part of ILNP’s Rich Effect series of nail polishes. Rich Effect polishes are formulated with deep color and complimentary effect pigments; specifically designed to exhibit a sophisticated and luxurious look on your fingertips.
I took a video of the shifts on this one here.
Next is Admire Me.
If you’re after a bright teal nail polish with an intense sparkle to it, Admire Me is definitely what you’re after!
Admire Me is an insanely cute teal polish loaded with holographic and sparkly goodness. If you don’t fall in love with it in the bottle, you definitely will after the FIRST stroke!
Next is the bonus polish that came with ordering at least three colors during the pre-order, Absolute Zero!
Last but not least is Washing Ashore. ILNP describes it as:
Washing Ashore is an incredibly strong multichrome nail polish studded with a unique combination of sparkly goodness. The primary color shift of this polish travels from a glowing teal to a rich and vibrant purple.
Washing Ashore will practically illuminate your fingertips. It’s extremely distracting so don’t wear it unless you’re ready to have an unproductive day!
As most of you can tell, Washing Ashore displays a multichromatic vibrance on par with the polishes in our Ultra Chrome line. The reason for this is that it’s actually composed of the same ingredients (and more) as the Ultra Chrome polishes. I almost went as far as classifying Washing Ashore as an Ultra Chrome but decided not to in order to stay true to the category.
I took a video of the shifts on this one as well here. This was definitely my favorite! As always, I also decided to try it with some China Glaze Fairy Dust on top and ended up stamping with some designs from the Messy Mansion MM21 plate.
Looking back on this entry, I really have a type when it comes to polish colour, huh? I did want Molly too but was already spending more money than I should have been so I passed on it for now. What do you think of these new shades? Any that you’re going to pick up? Let me know in the comments!
