Received 3 new polishes from Indigo Bananas in the mail today- this one screamed at me to put it on, so I decided to try it out first. Let’s take a look!
Indigo Bananas‘s shop states this about the color- “Twice as Bright is a bright, pink jelly packed full of blue glass fleck duochrome pigment particles. This polish shifts to a blue-purple, purple pink, and then hot pink – so at extreme angles the polish appears an even brighter pink. Very bright, but not a neon, and not a matte – shiny and bright”
I love the new bottle shape. As usual, shipping was fast and well packaged. The color applied smoothly, the photos below are with just 2 coats & seche vite to top it. I do want to apologize for the bit of Hostess With The Mostest left around one of my nails- I used the aluminum foil method to remove it but still ended up having ton to scrub off after and eventually got lazy about it.
By the window, but somewhat shadowy light.
Direct light from the window. A little blurry, but good for seeing the shininess.
Indoor lighting, still very pretty.
All in all, an absolutely gorgeous polish. Indoors you mainly just get the pink shifting color, but with the direct light some of that beautiful blue comes out. As usual, a great quality polish from Indigo Bananas.
All 3 that I received today. One still in the old bottle style because it was on clearance.
These were all of the polishes I received in the mail over the weekend- I am still actually waiting for 3 more from China Glaze, 12 from OPI and 5 from Zoya. After I receive those & my second shelf, I will do a proper post on my nail polish & makeup storage. I felt a little overwhelmed today because there were so many pretty colors to choose from, but I think I made a great choice!
I did make sure to use the bathroom before I began painting, but I didn’t realize how hungry I was until I started! Hopefully everything will dry good enough soon, I have a bad track record with smudging polish after half an hour or so.
